要点まとめ
- 2つを比べるときは比較級〈形容詞・副詞の er / more＋原級＋than ...〉を使う。例 Ken is taller than Tom.
- 3つ以上の中で一番のときは最上級〈the＋est / the most＋原級〉を使う。例 Ken is the tallest in my class.
- 短い語は er / est をつける（tall → taller → tallest, big → bigger → biggest, easy → easier → easiest）。
- 長い語は more / most を前に置く（beautiful → more beautiful → most beautiful, interesting → more interesting → most interesting）。
- 不規則に変化する語がある。good / well → better → best、many / much → more → most、bad → worse → worst。
- 「〜と同じくらい…」は〈as＋原級＋as ...〉で表す。例 My dog is as big as your dog.
